Throughout his career, Ian has held the position of Head Professional at several notable clubs. He began his tenure at Thaxted Park Golf Club from 1990 to 2000. Ian then moved to Mt. Osmond Golf Club, where he remained for an impressive 23 years from 2000 to 2023. Currently, Ian holds the position of Head Professional at Victor Harbor Golf Club, a role he assumed in 2023.

Ian’s expertise and dedication have earned him numerous accolades within the industry. He has been recognised as the PGA Club Professional of the Year for South Australia on multiple occasions, winning the title in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2022. His excellence was further acknowledged on a national level when he was named National PGA Club Professional of the Year in 2016.

In addition to his professional achievements, Ian has also excelled in the business aspect of golf. He was awarded the South Australian On Course Golf Franchise of the Year in 2019, and in the same year, he received the National On Course Golf Franchise of the Year award.

At Victor Harbor Golf Club, Ian works alongside his PGA Professional Associate and son, Oliver Pritchard. Together, they continue to contribute to the growth and development of golf in the region.
